This small 21 tonne structural steel frame in Glasgow was erected inside an existing building and will be used as a clean room facility for laboratory works.

For this structural steel erection in Glasgow our site team measured and marked out the locations of 120+ anchor bolts prior to taking delivery of the steelwork. The anchors were used to bolt the columns to the existing concrete floor.

Due to the head height restrictions we chose to utilise a telehandler forklift to off load, handle and erect the 122 pieces of structural steelwork.

Once the main frame was erected our team then made a start to fitting the 577 pieces that made up the cladding rails and anti-sag system.

Should you have a structural steel package that you require erected don’t hesitate to send the relative drawings to info@JohnstonRiggingFife.co.uk.
