We were recently tasked with erecting a 58 tonne structural steel building at a new recycling centre in Dalkeith, Edinburgh. The plant is part of Edinburgh and Midlothians council target of Zero Waste.

We utilised our own 30Te mobile crane to lift and lower the 640 items of steelwork into position (view specification).

Our steel erectors used 45 foot MEWPS to access the high level steelwork connections. In total our team inserted and torqued approximately 4500 bolts ranging from M16 to M30.

We can erect structures of all shapes and sizes. If you have a structural steel package that you would like erected please send the drawings to info@johnstonriggingfife.co.uk.
